What can you say about the new cell phone from Samsung, the Galaxy S? IT’S AWESOME!! The first thing you see is the HUGE Super Amoled 4″ screen. The Galaxy S is powered by a Samsung processor clocked at 1 GHz. and authorize the capture, sharing and playing high-definition video (1280×720 pixels). Along with the Android OS, this could just be the smart phone that can compete with the iPhone4. Really, if you have not seen it or laid your hands on one then that should be the first thing you do today.

Samsung has announced that their new cell phone has sold over 800,000 copies in south Korea, and that is in just about 2 months. Brighter, Thinner, and a higher-resolution that traditional screens. The camera is a 5 MP with face detection, smile detection, and can record video in HD. Email? Oh yes this has email. You can conect to a POP, IMAP4, SMTP, or the easiest way, just log into your gmail account with the Google interface. Among other qualities appreciated at Samsung Galaxy S: FM radio, library of electronic books for download, and free GPS navigation with Google maps.

New iPhone 4 case program from apple Incase and Bumper Case

Get this, Apple claims that less that one percent of iPhone 4 made a call to them to complain about the reception problems that are the going on. Now Apple has put forth the new “free case program“ to people that have the new iPhone 4. On Thursday, Apple began e-mailing refunds to customers who had purchased iPhone 4 Bumpers from its online store. On Friday morning, it also released the iPhone 4 Case Program, a free iPhone app which allows iPhone 4 owners to place an order for a free case. Get the app and run it on your phone, once you are in enter your iTunes store account password then check your device’s internal International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) and serial numbers to verify that it is indeed an iPhone 4. Then you’ll be able to proceed with the program and pick a case.

If you bought a Bumper form the Apple online store then you will get a refund and if you have not yet received yours then just wait for it and it will come. You can also bring your Bumper back to the retail store if you bought it there if you do it by Sept. 30 just bring the receipt with you. They are saying that 3rd party cases are not going to be refunded at all, sorry.

As for the cases that are available now for the iPhone 4 that you can check out, here is a list:

Make Your own Apps With Google For Android Smartphones

Soon their will be a new program out to Make your own apps. Google will soon be the first again to create a free software for people to use to make apps for the Android Smartphones. Google has been working on the software for just over a year.

Testing the software in schools and universities has been Googles main objective because they would like it to be easier for the common smartphone user. “It has to be easy, you can’t just have the software out there and no one be able to use it.” Said Blaine Sword. “The goal is to enable people to become creators, not just consumers, in this mobile world. We could only have done this because Android’s architecture is so open. These aren’t the slickest applications in the world. But they are ones ordinary people can make, often in a matter of minutes.” said Harold Abelson, how led the project and is a Computer scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

All you will need to get started with the software is a Gmail account and a computer. If you have an Android smartphone that would probably help to as you will want to test it out and see how it works on the phone. This is a visual web-based software allowing users simple drag and drop controls to Make Apps. This is going to make the OS even more popular then ever.

Motorola Droid X First Smartphone To Get Flash 10.1 Support

Once the new Motorola Droid X hits stores on July 15, 2010, they will be coming with a large amount of STUFF for you to play with and explore. First things first, Droid X phones will not have to wait too long for the new Android 2.2 update. It is scheduled to be out sometime before the end of this summer. In the new update this smartphone will be the first one to have Flash 10.1 uploaded to it. This is a huge deal for smartphones and their users. Consumers of these little hand held computers/phones have been waiting for some time for this and now the time is soooo close.

Alone with the Flash 10.1 the Droid X will also offer Mobile Hotspot (which will cost you another $20 a month but who cares right?) With Mobile Hotspot you will be able to share your Wi-Fi connection with up to 5 different devices. This is a very cool service.

Oh yeah, one more thing. The Motorola Droid X will come pre-loaded with a Blockbuster Application. WHAT? That’s right. Now you will be able to rent videos and even buy movies and get them to your smartphone through your app. This phone also has an HDMI port so you can hook it up to other devices such as your HDTV and watch your movies on the big screen. Not that the Droid X doesn’t have a big enough screen of its own. Take a look at the 4.3 inch touchscreen with a FWVGA resolution (854 x 480 pixels). That is huge too.

iPhone 4G Reception Problems

Their have been many people with the new iPhone 4G that have been reporting Reception Problems with the great new product from Apple. It seems that while you are holding the iPhone in your had the service bars at the top left start to fall off. Funny little problem right? I found a video that you can check out below which will show you just what they are talking about.

3D High Definition Camera For Your Cell Phone

That’s right, Sharp has come up with a new technology to adapt into portable devices such as your cell phone. With only a small amount of these modules to be produced at first they should start to mass producing these cameras this year or into 2011. The new 3-D camera will have two lenses and behind each lens a CMOS image sensor. When working with 3-D you need two images, one for the right eye and one of the left. The slight difference in the perspective of the images give it the appearance of having depth.

The video will be captured in 720P with a resolution of 1,280 by 720 pixels. For high-definition this is on the low end but either way it is still high-def. We still do not know at what frame rate the device will get but for just a mobile device such as a cell phone it will not really mater much.
